Cubic Yard Calculator turns job-site measurements into the quantity of material to order. Rectangle or slab, circle, triangle and tank shapes each accept feet, inches, yards, meters or centimeters on every field — dimensions can be mixed freely — and results are reported in cubic yards, cubic feet and cubic meters at once. Sixteen material presets add an estimated tonnage from typical supplier densities, and a one-tap 5–20% waste factor covers what concrete and gravel jobs actually lose to spillage and uneven subgrade. The volume engine is a small, unit-tested pure module kept separate from the UI, because contractors notice wrong math. The core calculator is free and unlimited by design; a single $3.99 Pro unlock removes advertising and adds saved projects, a cost estimator across 14 currencies, 40–80 lb bag counts, pickup and dump-truck load estimates, multi-area irregular sites and PDF quote export. There is no account and no backend — measurements, projects and prices stay in local storage on the device.
