Terms of use

Grailo is a tool for identifying Pokémon cards, looking up what they have sold for, and tracking a personal collection. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms, applicable law and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

Every price in Grailo is built from sales that already happened, and the sales behind it are listed so you can check them. A price is not an appraisal, an offer to buy, a guarantee of what a card will sell for, or financial or investment advice. Markets move, and sales can be missing, delayed or wrong at the source.

Live listings are asking prices from sellers, not sales, and are labelled as such. Converted currency amounts are approximate. Check prices yourself before you buy, sell, trade or insure a card.

Card and grade identification is automated and can make mistakes, especially with poor light, glare, damaged cards or similar prints. Always confirm the card, set, number, variant and grade shown before you rely on a result. Grailo does not verify that a card or a graded slab is authentic.

Some features require Grailo Pro, sold as a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you confirm, in your local currency, by the App Store or Google Play.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A free trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. You can manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payments, refunds and restores are handled by the store under its own terms.

The free tier includes a limited number of scans each month. Cards already in your collection stay available whether or not you subscribe.

You keep ownership of the photos you scan and the collection data you enter. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process scan photos, corrections and reports to run the app and to measure and improve card identification, as described in the privacy policy. Only scan cards and photos you have the right to share.

You may not scrape, bulk download or resell Grailo’s catalog or price data, get around scan limits or subscriptions, send automated or abusive requests, file false reports on sales, reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, or use Grailo to break the law or anyone else’s rights. We may limit or suspend access for anyone who does.

Grailo is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures, Game Freak, eBay, PriceCharting, PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG or any other grading company. Their names and card images are the property of their owners and are used only to identify cards.

Some links to eBay listings are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission from purchases made through them. Anything you buy from eBay or another site is between you and that seller.

Grailo is provided “as is” and “as available”, and scanning needs an internet connection. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including trading, buying or selling decisions made from a price or identification in the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Grailo in the twelve months before the claim. We may change, suspend or discontinue features when necessary.

The app’s code, design, mascot, branding and original content belong to the developer and its licensors. We may update these terms as the app or the law changes. Using the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
