Cubic Yard Calculator has no accounts, no sign-up and no server of its own. Everything you measure stays on your device; advertising and purchase data are the only information that leaves your phone.
Dimensions, units, waste factors, material selections, saved projects and their names, prices you enter, your settings and the cached Pro entitlement status are stored locally on your device — saved projects in a local SQLite database.
None of this is transmitted anywhere. We cannot see it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.
The free version shows banner ads and occasional, frequency-capped full-screen ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and ad-interaction information in order to select and measure ads. Your measurements, projects and prices are never included in an ad request.
Buying Pro removes all advertising and stops future ad requests from the app. Google's advertising privacy information is available at support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
On iOS you are asked, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether the app may use your advertising identifier. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalized ads and nothing else changes. Where required, Google's consent form is shown before the ads SDK starts, and you can reopen the available controls from Settings → Ad privacy choices. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
The one-time Pro purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to check whether your purchase is active so Pro features unlock on your device and can be restored after a reinstall. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user ID and your store receipt. It never receives your name, email or payment details, and we never see your card information at any point. We do not sell personal information. Information is processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Google AdMob only as needed for distribution, purchasing, entitlement management and advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
The app is not directed at children and requests G-rated ad content only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
