How do I bake a pizza?

Build it in order: stretch the dough, spread the sauce, add the cheese and toppings the ticket asks for, then choose Into the oven. Shut the door and the pizza bakes. There is no timer. Watch the glow, the smoke and the doneness bar, and pull the pizza when it is ready.

How do I close the oven door?

On iPhone Duo, fold the phone shut. On any iPhone, or if you would rather leave the phone open, tap Close the door. Open the phone or tap Open the door to check on the pizza. The hinge never gates anything: every action has a button.

The pizza is cooking slowly. Why?

Every second the door is open lets heat out of the oven, so checking too often slows the bake and the pizza comes out pale. Close the door and give it time. The oven recovers its heat once the door is shut.

I left the app. Did the pizza burn?

No. Baking pauses whenever the app is not active, and carries on from the same moment when you come back. The game will tell you that the oven waited for you.

The screen stays on while the phone is closed

That is on purpose. While a pizza is in the oven, Crustify keeps the screen awake so the outer display does not lock and pause the bake. It goes back to normal when the pizza is out.

I cannot hear the oven, or the haptics are off

Open Settings from the menu. You can switch sound and haptics on or off separately. Turn on Show bake hints to get short text cues such as “Cheese melting” or “Smells smoky” in place of the sound and the haptics. The doneness bar and the oven’s glow and smoke work with everything off.

How is my pizza judged?

Out of five stars, in half-star steps, on the bake, the toppings, the placement and the time. The pizzaiolo adds one line about your biggest single loss. A burnt fire side means turning more often next time, and a pale pizza means a little longer in the oven. You can retry the same order, or move on.

Does Crustify work on a regular iPhone?

Yes. It is designed for iPhone Duo, but plays on any iPhone running iOS 27, with the oven door on the screen. It also works in Split View.

What data does it collect?
